Newt Call

Here's what Rysher Entertainment had to say about him:

Last season, we saw Newt (whom we now refer to as Call) happy with his wife, Hannah, a ranch owner with a promising future. In one fateful night, his life crumbled when an explosion killed his wife. Devastated by Hannah’s death, Call left Curtis Wells in the middle of the night several days after the explosion. He traveled from town to town, aimless and soulless, eventually hitting rock bottom. Call turned to bounty hunting, finding that bringing justice eased his own guilt for failing to protect Hannah. At the same time, he found that it fed some deep darkness in his soul. The world he grew up in is now far, far away.

Call has come back to Curtis Wells, after living the past two years on the trail as a bounty hunter. If there is any redemption to be found, it is to be found in Curtis Wells. Though his bounty hunting days are behind him, he is still a gun-for-hire, a hard-nosed cynic. Once someone meets his price, he will not relent until he has satisfied that obligation to the full.

Call is a man of action. He has learned to survive on his reflexes, which are swift and ruthless. No one is quite sure of what he is capable of anymore.
